Can a custom thread shape be cut in turning?
I am wanting to cut a custom shaped thread with a DCMT Insert, this can be referred too as Rope Threading. This would initially rough out by going to an X,Z position at the front of the part. Then feed at a specific rate in Z for a given RPM. Then repeat this tracing the final shape for finishing. Is this possible in DELMIA? How to use revisions to update or repair machine models
I attached a video which shows how you can use revisions for updating or repairing a machine model. In the video it is shown how the machine simulation doesn't work first. After replacing the turret by another -working- revision of this turret I can directly use this model in an existing programmed PPR. After recalculating the toolpath the machine simulation works as expected. This contains that all connections made in the activity process tree and connections for mounting tools are taken over.

How to create a brush ( Cleaner type)

Machining or Additive with a Robot. Which output format ?
In the Fabrication domain (Machining or Additive) you can generate Robot output or NC output (APTfile or Gcode with a Postprocessor). The choice has to be done in the workcell (see video). Generic Post Processor for AMD?
Good morning, I've been preparing for the AMD enhancement with the generic post processor, and it seems that the generic post is only generating G0 moves. No G1 moves nor E moves for extrusion are being generated. I have double checked that the post is assigned correctly. Am I missing something? 3DXML is attached.

DELMIA Shop Floor NC Programing APP, AXIS orientation question
I'm am a new user to the DELMIA NC Programing APP. I am completing a training project shown in the image. The test 3DMXL part to be machined did not have a correct orientated Axis but I continued anyways not knowing if this would pose a problem. It appears that the Part and the Tooling fixture are not in the correct location. Is there a way to correct that? Is is just as easy to use the ROBOT or SNAP and move the part into the Fixture? Thanks for any help you can provide

Use CNC wood router for machine
Hi, I am new to 2DEXPERIENCE and Delmia Factory Floor Machining. I come from a long (>40 years) Autocad backround with some 3D (Fusion). I have successfully imported a 3D model of a CNC router now I am having a difficult time figuring out how to show the CNC router model in the same Machining Cell that I have imported the part that I want to machine. For reference, I can very simply using another CAM package, place my work on the router model and run a simulation. How do I do this in FFM?

Hello everyone, In machining, is there an option or trick to lock the toolbar that shows or hides the different elements (tools, machine, etc.)? How to display MFG_ User parameters in the Cutting Tools parameter Panel ?
I deployed several Business rules in Machining Resources and Machining Business Logic using Data Setup App, following the instructions in the Wiki EKL Script Customization for DELMIA Fabrication ( Business Rule to Categorize Parameters in Parameter Panel) No problem creating the "Wear parameters" subgroup in Technology and a second one in Geometry. However, I can't display the "User parameters" like in the video I saw the note "Important Tip: User Parameters for Tools can be created by
