I want to take a moment to recognize the R&D team for the outstanding work on the new Machine Surface Functionality introduced in FD01. This is a feature that machinists and programmers have needed for a long time, and it delivers exactly where it matters.

In many other systems, creating a drive surface means jumping into CAD and knowing how to untrim, extend, or even build new surfaces, tasks that are often outside the scope of a machinist or NC programmer. With this new functionality, that complexity disappears. In just a few simple steps, we can now create and manage a clean, usable surface directly within the Manufacturing Cell.

• No impact on the original physical product, keeping design data intact
