No Cutter Comp In APT or NC Code

Pretext: I am on the maker version of Shop Floor Programmer. I am having a heck of a time figuring out how to get G41/G42 into the gcode. I have tried all the combinations of radial, tip, etc. when setting up the machining operation. I have also checked that there is a "P" value set in the tool. I have ensured it is turned on and set properly in ICAM Foundation. However, I just can't get it to put CUTCOM/LEFT (or /RIGHT) in the APT code, so of course, ICAM doesn't output the proper gcodes. Simulation unable to virtual twin process for 4th axis machining and vise/table machining on table in the same program

I'm working with my VAR, but I'd like to leverage the power of this community to hopefully gain some insight. I have a very common process that we do: machining on the 4th axis rotary, then an additional set-up in a vise on the same table, in the same program. If I do all of the work on the rotary and then add the vise set up as a "SET-UP", then the vise part will move with the indexing of the rotary, even though it is mounted to the machine. I have a problem when I want to measure an angle between a hole (its axis) and a surface. When I've lauched simulation, files CE_Instruction.txt and machine information file xml was created but machine do not move at all. AM 2025x FD02 : Synchronize Supports along Grid Walls

In 2025x FD02, a new option "Synchronize with Grid" has been introduced for 'Anchor' and 'Perforation' features under 'Wire Supports' Shape. This option enables synchronizing and maintaining a even distribution of anchors and perforations along the grid walls as seen in the video. Missing Tool in Delmia Shop Floor Machining

Hello I am using 3D Experience Delmia Shop Floor Machining. When I add a tool (10 mm End Mill in this case), it does not show up in Tool Resources. However, I am able to finish the subsequent steps. RTCP ON/OFF, and its effect on simulation

In the example below, operation with 3/5 convertor ON, can display a difference in material removal between tool path simulation and Machine simulation. The difference can be seen in the video below. Essentially, with RTCP OFF, the tool path simulation does not show any clash issues, as opposed to the machine simulation on the same operation. This can be easily misinterpreted as an issue. Hello, I try to machine in C axis mode, I activate the polar mode and set parameters. But in the NC code, I cannot see this movement. It is same when polar mode is deactivate. I think that should be like simultaneous movement in NC code. Because I can see the simultaneous movement in NC code when I use mult-axis operations. Is there an option for pptable or some tricks? I need help. I can't get the Tool Assembly Search tool to work. I am in 3dExperience DELMA Shop Floor Machining. Makers License. There are the files that I manually moved in there and I've tried the "add to library" option after I create it in a different manufacturing cell. Nothing shows up to be selected. I am entering the search with no filtering. I can see that there are a relation to each file I have added to this library but there is nothing to select. Is there a default setting somewhere

How define the machine for Multi-axis mill and additive manufacturing?

Hi, Every Master I wish define the machine for Multi-axis mill and additive manufacturing in the EQE Role. The machine has two spindle, one for mult-axis mill, one for additive manufacturing. The mult-axis mill spindle need Tool change. The AM spindle does not need Tool change. Like the youtube video ^^ This machine can use in AMD Role. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hwhDz6Sdg4

Changing Machine Tool Change Position Locally in Process

Hello Everyone, I want ot have the capability to change the Tool change position in the CAM Process. For example the WFL machine have a variable tool change position. In v5, we were able to Edit that: In 3DExperience, the values are Locked and I can not change them: They are greyed out. Also, they do not appear in the Machine local parameters: Is there a workaround here? Or can we add the option to edit the tool change position option in the local parameters?

Using Offset Groups

Offset groups are a way to utilize an offset distance per face. You can combine multiple surface offsets into a single group. Find the Offset Group command in the Surface Machining tab Add a feature to pick faces for an offset area. Assign a local offset value and click OK. Create more offset areas to make a grouping if needed. After clicking OK to create the Offset Group, you can now use them in operations that allow it.
