I recently had DraftSight 2026 Professional installed on my computer. However, the default screen is not displaying properly. Our IT company recommended that I contact DraftSight directly for assistance. Could you please advise how to reset or configure the default screen to a standard 2D view? I have a problem with the view on the workspace. I am using DraftSight Standard 2026 SP1. When I open a 2D drawing, it becomes distorted on the workspace and I cannot edit anything — the view keeps jumping. In Explorer, the drawing is displayed correctly. Dimension by picking entity (the top dimesion) - scales correctly; but dimension by picking endpoints (the bottom dimension) does not scale correctly. Same behavior in old drawing as new drawing. No change to custom dimension style. Tried reverting back to standard dimension style. Scale factor? Follow sheet dimensions? Tried changing different settings to no avail. Hi, When working with viewports, (in existing files) I can edit directly the custom scale property typing the value directly, once this is written, the viewport scales the image and the value previously typed, stills in the cell ✔️: But for new files, I cannot do the same, and when a set a specific value on the custom scale field, the viewport scales the image, but the cell displays zero ✖️: Does someone know how can I fix this? best regards!

windows11で2026 SP01をインストールしました。今までは2023 SP4を使用。線を矢印でクリック選択しようとしても選択ができません。ドラッグしながら線に触れると選択ができます。線の上に矢印をのせてクリックすると、矢印の右下に添付画像にあるような四角のマークがでます。アタッチ→イメージで画像を挿入して、その上に線をひき作業をしたいのですが、クリック選択がでず困っています。ちなみにロックや凍結はしていません。2023の時はクリック選択ができていたですが、何が変わったのかわかりません。心当たりのある方お手数ですがお願いします。

Hi all. Has anyone had a problem with rotate with reference points? This is the first time I've ever encountered a problem with this command. I go through the usual process, but it doesn't let me enter the reference points, I can select the items to rotate, then select pivot point then it ask's for angle, but won't let me pick 'points' for reference, I can type R, but still only ask's 'Specify reference angle'. Hi all, when using the note formatting bar by using smart, it doesn't leave that small gap between the main entity (the deck) and the lines showing the annotations. It continues straight off the main deck drawing, almost like the annotation lines / formatting bar are a part of the main drawing? I didn't do anything differently to what was shown in the video. Whilst not a novice to CAD, the beginners tutorial videos don't seem comprehensive enough? has the software been updated since the videos?

Hi All, I have set up color codes for layers in model space but want to override all these in the Sheet to be black. For that I read the DraftSight Blog Post that deals with the topic and used VP Colors. I can pick colors in the layer manager in the sheet but they do not change colors. There was a suggestion here that the profile.xml file in AppData needs to be changed in order to reset settings , that did not help though. Can anyone help ? Hi Everyone, I have recently installed Draftsight 2025 professional. I have noticed in this version when you select an element a small properties box (for lack of a better name) pops up. I find this extremely annoying because a majority of the time it it pops up over the point that I wish to move/alter. Good morning. I have visual errors constantly in draftsight 2022 like the ones in the annexed image. When i try to edit text it turns into scribbles. if i use the REGEN or REGENALL commands it goes back to normal. However when editing text again the problem persists. Hello In connection with my update to 2026 SP0. When i plot a drawing the program is overruling my .ctb file and make all the lines in 2mm. I havent changed anything in the .ctb file or in the options. If i take the same file and plot it from my old computer with Draftsight 2025 SP4 all is well. What have you changed in the 2026 version?
