I updated from 2025 professional to 2026. The splash screen displays then the program starts to open then immediately closes. I'm screwed. How do you get on the phone with these people?

Hallo, I have DraftSight Standard 2026 SP0 arm64 and it working properly. I need deactivate program, and move it to another computer with OS. I can't do it because there are not deactivating option, but only activation option. Is another way to do it?

I was told I can flatten geometry and that's true. however I'm looking for this program to be able to unfold 3D geometry to flat pattern, then I can cut the part on my waterjet or laser machine, then add bends. Can this program achieve this task? if so, how? thank you for your time.

I mastered silent installation of DraftSight 2023 which came as an .msi. DS 2024 comes as a single .exe. Is there documentation or best practice for installation 2024 silently? Also, will I need to uninstall 2023 first? Will the 24 installer remove 23 first? Can they coexist?

About constraints in Draftsight: Is it possible to make a line end point coincident to the center point of an arc? I can do it with a circle, but not an arc.

My command window recently had an issue with not expanding properly (couldn't see the text section) so I closed it, and it said use F9 to re-open. I have tried this numerous times and can't get it to open up again. Pressing F2 brings up the overlaid command window history, but I can't dock this into the workspace as the other one was. Hello, I recently updated from the 2020 version of the software to the 2025 version. There are quite a few things different now for my workflow, but I would like to ask about just a couple. First, on the 2020 version, I used to be able to select all the cells in a table and change the Text Style of all cells at once. Now in the 2025 version, it seems that the cells are treated as different types and the Text option in the properties window goes away and I cannot change them at the same time.

As of this morning. Draftsight won't open. Message says: Can't obtain license. Contact Tech Support. Purchased this in May 2025 so license is still good. Worked fine last week. Standalone install. Contacted, via email as it's only a Professional license. I've heard nothing from tech support. Dassault...do better! Any advice as their tech support is basically non-existent?

I just updated from DraftSight 2025 SP1 to SP4 and now Draftsight crashes upon boot-up. The Menu/Ribbon does not even start to load and the application crashes. To get some work done, I un-installed SP4, rebooted the computer and reloaded SP1. Now that version crashes the same way, so I uninstalled it, rebooted the computer, downloaded SP2 and installed it. Same results, DraftSight will crash just after the application opens. Any ideas why this is happening after installing SP4?

Good afternoon. I am, like all of us, coming from Autocad. In Autocad, and the other clones that appear after, when inserting an image and chose to define Scale in the screen, the maximum size of a side of the image is used to scale, in the X axis, or in the Y axis. In Draftsight the behavior is very strange and cannot use Scale on Screen to Reference anything with purpose. Can you please, explain how to obtain the normal Scale on Screen behavior, like other CAD software, what am I doing wrong?

Hello! I've recently discovered that Draftsight offers the opportunite to export and import BOM to a drawing. Is there a tutorial for this or is anyone used to this feature and can give a quick tutorial? Does it create a table with the BOM of each layer? Hi, I went to open a drawing i started yesterday and none of the curved lines are displaying. It opens fine on other computers just not mine. I tried redrawing and copy paste to a new template but it still doesn't display the curves. I added new sheet. Did a copy paste from another drawing. And now the drawing is in every sheet. If I delete something on one sheet, it is delete on all sheets. If I draw something on one sheet, it is drawn on every sheet. How can I work each sheet individually, not affecting the other sheets? Thank you
