Hello fellow SIMULIA Community members,
As we swing into 2024, let's have a look back at our December highlights!
Have you watched the new SIMULIA release Tech Talks yet? These presentations provide key highlights on new and enhanced capabilities across our portfolio and are available on demand.
The replays from this year's excellent MODSIM Conference are now available in the MODSIM Community. Have a look at the sessions available and chose which one to start with!
Interested in how SIMULIA PowerFLOW can help to design fan blades and electronic components for noise while maintaining desired airflow performance? Check out @RS's post: Successfully manage trade-off between fan cooling and noise for electronic devices using SIMULIA PowerFLOW.
@EA shared their latest scientific article in Acta Acustica journal: Numerical Flow Noise Simulation of an Axial Fan with a Lattice-Boltzmann Solver. The study uses PowerFLOW to validate data against the European Acoustics Association (EAA) benchmark platform.
If material modeling is your thing, then you need to make sure you follow community stalwart @TD who has an excellent and extensive range of content. New posts this month were:
Thank you to @MK for sharing Aircraft Lightning Electromagnetic Pulse Simulation Part I and Part II, which describe and compare two CST Studio Suite workflows for this scenario.
We always like to hear about what our community members are working on. Thank you @AR for sharing Natural Frequency of torsional vibration using Abaqus and Period of the pendulum using the Abaqus this month!
👉 And finally, you can download January's SIMULIA Calendar Wallpaper for your desktop 💻
See you in the community!
