Hello fellow SIMULIA Community members,
Thank you to all the fantastic presenters who made the May Regional User Meetings so interesting! You will see links are already going live on the Americas Users Conference 2023 wiki page as replays and slide decks are shared here in the SIMULIA Community. A new series of webinars, aptly named NextGen Design, will examine the entire product development process from initial requirements to the finished concept. Topics will focus on an array of themes, from industry-specific workflows and technical demonstrations to broader business values. The first webinar will take place on June 7 and will cover 3DEXPERIENCE-based styling tools for early concept modeling: 3DEXPERIENCE Vehicle Simulation & Styling
Continuing a MODSIM theme, in this great demo @SK takes us through how to use a MODSIM approach for integrated electric drive development - if vehicle manufacture is your area of interest, this is well worth a watch!
Parts 3 & 4 of the 4-part webinar series on using electromagnetic simulation for space exploration have now been shared in the community. Join @YY as she takes you through RF Breakdown Analysis (part 3) and EMC & E3 Simulation (part 4).
For our Abaqus fans, we have a new blog series covering Abaqus Fundamentals for 3DEXPERIENCE SIMULIA - really useful for those starting out on their Abaqus journey!
Got one minute spare? Why not follow @SK's example and take on a One-minute Hex-Meshing Challenge!
@AB is full of interesting questions and, fortunately for us, he has lots of interesting answers too! This month Andreas asked, "Can an office chair interfere with your monitor?". Check out his post to find out his response.
Like tennis? Love Abaqus? Want an entertaining and interesting read? ➡ Roger Federer, the Soyuz Mission, and "The Master of Us All" from @AR
If you'd like to test smarter and certify faster, check out @MO's post about what VEXTEC, a Dassault Systèmes Partner, could help you with. VEXTEC’s VPS-MICRO® software is a predictive tool that leverages the power of Abaqus to simulate metal fatigue at the microstructural level.
Thank you to @RG for sharing how he uses Abaqus to calibrate a ductile damage model
And finally, you can download June's SIMULIA Calendar Wallpaper for your desktop, laptop, iPad or smartphone 💻📱
See you in the community!
