Hear first-hand how University Professor, Dr. Zoltan Major and various colleagues and researchers at Johannes Kepler University Linz use SIMULIA Abaqus technology in Academia and industry. One noted benefit of Abaqus is the flexibility it allows in many different applications. Philipp Stelzer teaches simulation courses to students in the Polymer Technologies and Science Program using Abaqus and finds it fun to watch students grow using the software and realize they can apply the results later for things like product development. The University is also using Abaqus for work in elastomer parts, helmet design and accurate models and simulations of the human knee.
