Isight is a tool to help engineers create process flows. It provides a suite of tools, or components, to link together various applications - such as CAD programs, FEA software, Excel spreadsheets, and in-house scripts. Once these applications are linked together, they can, in essence, communicate with each other, and operate as part of a single workflow.

 

 

 

 

This introduction to Isight is hosted by Gautam Puri. You will find workshop files to accompany the video series attached to the overview blog.

In this tutorial we shall cover a few basic concepts of Isight in order to help you get started. For demonstration purposes we shall use the simple example of a swimming pool construction project.
