[Enhancements for Makers] Offline Mode

Dear Makers | Support Community,

With the update on July 27, 2022, you will be able to use SOLIDWORKS Connected in offline mode without constant Internet connectivity.

Before starting ‘Work Offline’, ensure the following:
1.You have a local copy of the files that you plan to work on. You may refer following post about Another way to search for 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS files on your computer.
2.You have a desktop shortcut for SOLIDWORKS Connected. Please feel free to refer post 'Desktop Shortcut Automatically Created for SOLIDWORKS Connected'
3.You have licenses valid for 30 or more days. We are working on shortening the default offline time in a future version of SOLIDWORKS Connected.

Please take the time to read the instructions.

Even if you are internet enabled, SOLIDWORKS will stay in Offline Mode until you disable it or the offline period expires.

The following commands and functionality are unavailable while Offline Mode is ON:

•    The 3DEXPERIENCE task pane tab is hidden (because the MySession app is not loaded).
•    Tools > Batch Save to 3DEXPERIENCE command is disabled.
•    All commands in the Lifecycle and Collaboration toolbar are disabled.
•    The Lifecycle Status tab in the FeatureManager Display Pane is hidden.
•    If autonaming is enabled on the platform, it will be disabled while offline mode is active. The setting will be applied only when you save your content to 3DEXPERIENCE after turning off offline mode.
