Dear Makers | Support Community,
After the update on May 18th, there will be another way for you to search your computer (local drives) for SOLIDWORKS files that you saved to your platform. On the task pane shown in the attached image, SOLIDWORKS shows all of the files on your computer that you saved to the platform. To access this pane, simply click on the '3DExperience Files on This PC' icon on the right side of your SOLIDWORKS Window (see image). From there, you can search files by name or filter by file type (part, drawings, assembly). You can also see more information about that file, such as lock status, revision, collaborative space, etc. If you've saved a file locally, but have not yet saved to the platform, the file will not appear on this list.
This also allows you to drag those files directly into the graphics area to open them. You can also delete those files from your machine by right-click > click on 'Delete from this PC'.
