The VENTIVIDA engineering phase is almost over. The project headed by Nicolai Rutkevich aims to deliver an ultra-low cost (below 20 USD) mechanical ventilator to fight COVID-19 in Brazil. With the help of 7D CAD and LATAM TTMs, as well as engineers and designers from all over the country, this ventilator will soon be helping people through this hard time. The video shows the flow rate regulating mechanism that was just designed with SW20, and will allow this device to be adapted to a wide range of people.
We hope this project will soon be finished and pass the Brazilian Health Administration (ANVISA) homologation tests and finally be delivered to those in need.
Stay home, stay safe.
