The Share tool in SOLIDWORKS Connected application allows you to share your SOLIDWORKS parts, assemblies and drawings seamlessly with other users.
 

Sharing files via 3DDrive: 

When you need share your files with other users who are not yet part of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, sharing files via 3DDrive can be a convenient option. You can share your files in formats like 3dxml, STEP, IGS, STL, SLDPRT or SLDASM.

Publish to 3DSwym Communities or Conversations: 

Use this option to showcase and share your designs with fellow Makers Users on the MAKERS| Made in 3D public Swym community. 
Further, this option can also be useful when you are facing any issues with the model or need to discuss designs with community members.
