There are two types of Apps in the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform:

• Web Apps: The dashboard apps can be opened in the browser. Some web apps are also dashboard apps which can be added as a widgets to a dashboard.
• Native Apps: Native apps are the apps that are loaded on your computers running on the supported Operating Systems. The Native Apps require a local installation first on your workstation.
