Episode 00: Introduction In this introductory episode, Jason and Todd Trout introduce the SOLIDWORKS xDesign package, highlighting its next-generation, web-based tools perfect for makers and collaborators. They set the stage for a hands-on project that combines 3D and subdivisional modeling to create organic shapes, promising tips, tricks, and fun throughout the series.

Episode 01: First Login and Setup This video guides new users through their first login and setup of SOLIDWORKS xDesign for Makers, including how to access the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and navigate the default dashboard. It also highlights key apps and resources to help users get started quickly and efficiently.

Episode 02: Project Kick-off The team decides on the project to work on, drawing inspiration from iconic designs. They begin the process by gathering inspiration on a 3D whiteboard, sketching ideas, and planning their approach to bring the project to life.

Episode 03: Modeling in xDesign This video provides a step-by-step overview of modeling in xDesign, a browser-based 3D modeling software ideal for makers and CAD users. It covers creating sketches, extruding 3D objects, adding features like chamfers and holes, and organizing parts with ordered geometrical sets to build a complete design.

Episode 04: Learning Resources Explore the resources available within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, including the Learning Center with videos, tips, and tutorial series for mastering xShape. It also highlights the public community forums and sample content for additional support, as well as tips on organizing and accessing your saved designs using bookmarks and the content tab.

Episode 06: Sharing Designs with Others The team shows you how you can share your designs with virtually anyone to get feedback and comments. Whether it's a friend, coworker, supplier, or customer, they can access full 3D views of your work without a need for a license or installing any software.
