A new app ‘IP Protection and Export Control Classification’ widget is now available in the dashboard, allows you to enforce IP and Export Control protections through classification.

The application is available with both roles:

• IP Security Manager (IPS)
• IP Controlled Access (IPA)

You will use the app's capabilities according to the role (IPS or IPA) assigned to you:

• If you have IPS assigned to you, you can perform the following:
  • Create and manage security libraries and classes
  • Define Security Rules and apply them to security classes
  • Define Exceptions and add objects, members, business skills, countries, locations or organizations to it.
  • Classify and declassify content
  • Set your physical location
• If you have IPA assigned to you, you can perform the following:
  • Classify and declassify content
  • Request for exception
  • Set your physical location
