R2027x GA | Legacy to Strategic Apps Transition Overview

From R2027x GA onward, only Strategic (Next Gen) apps will be available, replacing all legacy apps.

Features

Some features that were available in legacy applications are now offered differently in the replacement Next Gen apps.

These improvements reflect the new design and approach of Next-Gen apps, providing a more intuitive and streamlined experience while covering the same use cases.

Classification Summary (libraries and classes)	Legacy single-screen KPI view is replaced by distributed info. Users can view libraries, classes, exceptions, drill down into sub-classes, and navigate classified items. Filtering by time range is available via the History tab.
Archive Expired Exceptions & Country Registrations	Exceptions can be archived using filters in the Exceptions tab. Country registrations are managed in ENOVIA Collaboration & Approvals app, expired entries are archived from the Registrations tab.
Working with Routes & Issues	Use dedicated Routes & Issues widgets for managing routes and issues efficiently.
Manage Attribute Groups	Attribute groups are no longer needed. Attributes are fewer (limited to 20) and shown as standalone, which can be viewed or added directly.
Create Exceptions from Object Context	Exceptions per object are no longer recommended. Exceptions should be created first, then relevant objects can be referenced.
Reclassify	Remove an object from one class and add it to another using “Add Existing Content”. Use Classifications facet available in all apps (Information panel).
