| Can workflows have parallel paths and how does this handle multiple approvers within a given step? | Workflows can support parallel paths and multiple approvers in various ways. The BPM norm used in ITEROP allows a workflow to wait for all the approvals to validate their task before going to the next one (parralel validation) as well as sending validation task to different validators in a specific order (sequential validation). |
| For a Document already we have a Lifecycle States within the 3dx that we can use for review and approval. What are your thoughts of using BPM instead of the regular lifecycle process available? | ITEROP and BPM do not replace document lifecycle tools, they encompass them. A document lifecycle can be part of an ITEROP process which includes many other sub-processes supported by dedicated platform apps all orchestrated by ITEROP through its OOTB connectors. |
| Are there any connections to the native client (CATIA, SOLIDWORKS)? | This question was answered live. |
| How long have the BPM roles been around? And, do the BPM roles differ from the historical ENOVIA roles used to build & utilize workflows (e.g. Eng Change workflows)? | ITEROP roles are available on platform since 2023. BPM has a larger scope and can include Change workflows without replacing them. |
| Are there predefined templates for customers? | This question was answered live. ITEROP's approach on this topic is to focus on tailor-made processes. We believe processes must adapt to people and organizations and not the opposite. |
| Are there some process mining functions planned in the future? | Through the Business Process Watch app (available for the Business Process Analyst role) it is already possible to have insights on the performance of your processes. It is also possible to connect ITEROP to other data analysis tools on platform (NETVIBES) or external (PowerBI). |
| How can we use ITEROP with the 3DEXPERIENCE on-premise? | ITEROP is available on-cloud only. |
