Update Latest Design in a MultiCAD Structure |
Why Refresh non-native designs in the CAD session to enhance MultiCAD development processes |
How Perform a “Session Refresh” on MultiCAD structures containing non-native parts, the modified non-native parts will be visible in red The user selects the highlighted parts and performs “Session Refresh” to update them to the latest revision |
Creo Parametric Template Support |
Why Create new designs based on pre-defined part, assembly and drawing templates to streamline the process and improve standardization of design efforts |
How You can now initiate new CAD designs with pre-defined Creo Parametric design templates for parts, assembly and drawings NOTE: This function will not allow the user to create Physical Product objects of the following types:
|
Lock Unlock of xCAD Products via Creo Parametric Connector |
Why Lock and unlock products from the MySession window to control the status of your design without leaving the design session |
How You can now lock and unlock 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA based products from within your Creo Parametric design session |
Open MultiCAD designs with Filters |
Why Open filtered MultiCAD product structure into a Creo Parametric CAD session providing the designer with the correct design context |
How Filtered MultiCAD designs can be opened into a CAD design session adhering to the filtered status of both native and non-native components within the structure |
MySession Performance Enhancement |
Why The MySession window opens independently of the CAD session providing additional time to design while MySession is loading |
How When opening a new design into session, you no longer have to wait for the MySession window to load before you can begin working with the CAD capabilities of the CAD system A great deal of time is saved when loading large assemblies that require a lot of time to load the MySession window |
Update Revision Data on MultiCAD Structure |
Why Replace existing non-native component revisions with other revisions to keep your design up to date in a MultiCAD product structure |
How You can now update the revisions of non-native components in the NX CAD structure Users do not have to clear the current working directory because the system is now aware of the status of non-native parts in the cache They can download required parts at any time so they do not have to download the entire structure each time for a change as was the case in the prior release. |
