Why Accelerate product development through improved collaboration between suppliers and OEMs for both design and manufacturing |
How - You can now set up integrated engineering collaboration environments, called “Collaboration Hubs”, to enable co-design scenarios between multiple teams, partners, and internal departments within your company
- Collaboration hubs contain the following components
- Collaboration - Activities conducted by several teams to achieve an engineering project
- Collaboration Member - A platform user belonging to one team’s user group. Note that Platform services are granted to members when they are invited.
- Traceability Events – The ability to track and record any action while logged in

Extended Collaboration Control Center |
Why Provide an application to simplify the setup and management of OEM / Supplier collaborative environments |
How - A new application called “Extended Collaborations Control Center” will allow a platform administrator to set up a collaboration environment to efficiently collaborate with partners
- This collaboration environment is based on a customizable dashboard with predefined apps and event traceability
- The 3DEXPERIENCE platform is able to manage multiple collaborations and is therefore a “Collaboration Hub” for these activities
Note: This application is only available for platform administrators with the 3D Product Architect role on Cloud
