Context
In 3DExperience CATIA Fluid System Apps, Insulation are used to add surounding part on top of pipe or duct element
the following 3DXML provide a starter kit to use insulation functionnalities
for more details about how to use the setup, you can refer to the following page
Note : If you have already imported first a piping or tubing Starterkit, check if they were not containing the insulation setup. For that just do the following query : "esp:insulation" to see if you found "Insulation Spec - XXX" objects. if yes , no need to import the bellow 3DXML
Scope of the 3DXML
the setup contains 4 insulation specification, covering 2 material of insulations and 2 disciplines Piping and for HVAC objects (see above picture)
- Glasswood (GW) material : "Insulation Spec - GW"
- FiberGlass (FG) material : "Insulation Spec - FG"
- the default insulation cover the 2 materials : "Insulation-Default-XXX"
The insulation Part are defined by a type, material & thickness for a given NominalSize
