I would like to define tractions on a cylindrical surface using an analytic field (that in this case would be a loading with sinusoidal variation around the circumference).
I have defined an expression, and a load using the expression. The problem is I have no visual indication of the distribution of the loading since on the entire cylindrical surface there are only six arrows in two axial lines. There is no way I can see from this sparse representation how the load varies circumferentially.
I have tried to increase the density of symbols in the Assembly Display Options dialog, but the slider to increase the face density only goes so far, and even sliding it all the way to the right does nothing to the density of symbols used to represent the load. Isn't there some other way of visualizing the analytical field?
Thanks,
Petr
