Hi All,
This is Salih from Northeastern University.
I am observing that inactivate elements are affected by DFLUX in previous steps where UEPACTIVATIONVOL is not active.
First of all, the element activation temperature is set to 590K.
Element temperature and active status were plotted below.
Step 1 - from 0 - 2000: There is no UEPACTIVATIONVOL or DFLUX in this stage. We can see a drop in element temperature during the inactive state. - First minor issue
Step 2 - from 2000 - 2330: In this step, DLUX is active. This is a preheating of the surface without any element activation, but the element temperature is increasing like this is an active element, although the status at this step is "0" - inactive. - Major issue
Step 3—from 2330 - ... this is where the UEPACTIVATIONVOL is defined. The element temperature goes back to 590K and stays at 590 until activation. The temperature history is as expected in this step.
Do you have any idea why inactive elements are affected by DFLUX prior steps that UEPACTIVATIONVOL is not defined, and everything goes back to expected behavior when the UEPACTIVATIONVOL defined step starts?
Thank you for your help in advance!
Best,
