Hello everyone. In ABAQUS, in order to conduct the residual strength analysis of a target plate that has been penetrated by a bullet, I need to set the initial crack and consider the residual stress, residual strain, etc. However, in the same model, it is not possible to define the explicit analysis step first and then the standard analysis step. Therefore, two models need to be established, and the results of the first model need to be imported into the second model. After setting the initial state and the stationary XFEM crack in the second model, an error occurs: "The initial level set may not be applied to imported elements 807654 when the state parameter on the *import option is set to yes."This seems to indicate that the imported initial state cannot be applied simultaneously to the same element set as the XFEM initial crack defined by the level set method.

     Since I want to consider elastoplastic cracks, I hope to not only import residual stress. Could you please tell me how I can solve the above problem?
