Hello Everyone,

I am simulating the tensile test of composites, I have chosen a dynamic explicit step and continuum shell elements. Is it proper for this simulation or I should choose the Static general instead? if so how should I define the time period in dynamic explicit analysis which relates to real test? 

I also used the Hashin damage criterion, but I could not observe the element removal in simulation and the status of all elements remain one, Is there anyway to obtain element deletion in this case or I should try another way? I turn the element deletion on in the mesh section. It would be great to help me by answering these questions.
