Hi everybody!

I'm a beginner with abaqus: I created the model of a cantilever beam subjected to a tip load F, meshed with only one finite element. I assigned to it the beam type, with cubic formulation. I tried to obtain the shear force diagram, and so I  looked for the SF1 variable plot. But the results are very close to zero, which doesn't agree with the theoretical result of a constant diagram (F). The results in terms of bending moment are as I expected. I can't understand why there's such a problem with the shear force. Can anyone help me?
