I just started using the Material Calibration App and would like to use it to characterize a transversely isotropic material model. For an initial test, I only loaded the data for the first fiber direction.
My question is: Is it possible to define the strain range within which the Young’s modulus is determined? According to the relevant DIN standard, the Young’s modulus of fiber-reinforced composites is evaluated in the strain range from 0.05% to 0.25%.
Do I need to implement this by importing only the data within the specified range, or would this have to be handled through a subroutine? If the latter, are there examples of using a subroutine in the context of the Material Calibration App? I reviewed the Practice SIMULIA Material Calibration Learning Module but did not find an example.
