I am investigating beam-to-SPH interaction using General Contact in Explicit on platform.

I am moving the beam inside the SPH domain. But contact has not been established between them. The beam just moves inside the SPH domain without disturbing the particles. 

Are there any settings on the platform that I should look into to resolve this issue? Please guide.
