I’m simulating a material strand (e.g., aluminum) inside an Eulerian box, which interacts with a Lagrangian tool body. I'm using Abaqus/Explicit, and I’m observing the following phenomenon:

• In the initial state (see first image), the strand appears regular and stable within the Eulerian mesh.
• After some time, however, unphysical anomalies or fragments appear in the strand that are difficult to explain (image 2).

What could be causing these fragments or irregular pieces to form within the material strand?
