Hello fellows, I'm an Abaqus starter user, and I'm working with lattice structures for energy absorption for impact load cases.
This is my first simulation on Abaqus and I'm struggling with simple basic contact definition. The model consists on a single losangle cell as the image below, in which a load is applied on the right side and the left side is constrained. The right side of the cell should reach the left side and stop there, but in my case, the contact somehow is not accounted, and the left side intersects with the right side, as the second image. Could you guys please help me defining this contact? I could not find a practical guide on the User Assistance for this problem. I uploaded the .inp file as a .txt file, if it somehow would help (please let me know if this is not allowed, but I could not find anything on the guidelines about file sharing).
