The elements in the highlighted region are coupled to a master node and the master node is constrained in Y,RX,RZ and moment is applied to the master node. Basically, we are simulating four-point bending for the fixture we have which is quite different from the regular four-point bending fixtures.

Can any one explain why the stresses are zero in the highlighted portion of elements in the first picture.

any sort of help is appreciated.
