I am working on a heat transfer problem in which heat generated by PCB components of a automotive ECU needs to be properly dissipated by its outer cover also called Housing(Magnesium alloy).
While providing interaction properties "surface film condition" on the inner and outer walls of the housing, we need to provide the value of Film Co-efficient which i am not sure how to calculate or arrive at. Although i have tried the problem by randomly values after referring to some documents on internet and example problems form abaqus workshops. But i am still not sure about the values i have given. Unit used by me for film co-efficient is W/m2K.
If anyone has worked on convective heat transfer problem please provide me with some input.
