I would like to simulate a dielectric dome lens antenna using CST Studio Suite , in Ku band. The source would be a phased array antenna and the large radome would be located in near field zone. After watching a few webinars and articles, I think that the method based on the evaluation of the source in Time Domain Solver and then its use in Field Source coupled with the Asymptotic or Integral Solver remains the most effective solution. The radome, for its part, would be modeled through a Thin Panel material. However, I would like to make sure of this with you. In addition, will the impact of dielectrics be taken into account with these methods ? How to take into account the interaction of the radome on the source ? I understood that the NFS source would support this last consideration
