I am trying to replicate results of composite beam mentioned in one of research papers. I used same properties and dimensions of composite beam to find out the natural frequency. But I am getting completely different values. SiNi is used as substrate. I am getting frequency as 1993 Hz instead of as mentioned 236.85Hz. What mistakes can lead to such fatal error? Are detail guide available for composite beams involving piezoelectric materials?
