I need to prescribe a location-dependent temperature field in one model. I've succeeded in doing this in /Standard by implementing a UTEMP subroutine. I now need to do the same thing with /Explicit to resolve some drawbacks of implicit model. Unfortunately, I found Abaqus does not have an equivalent version of UTEMP in /Explicit. I found a potential subroutine VUFIELD. I wonder if I can use this subroutine do my job? If not, is there a way to prescribe a location-dependent temperature field in /Explicit?
