Dear 3DS platform,
I am trying to change from a linear model to a nonlinear model by changing all my springs. I run into the following errors however, by changing only the first spring:
THE INDEPENDENT VARIABLES MUST BE ARRANGED IN ASCENDING ORDER. THIS ERROR MAY HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY A POSSIBLE EMPTY LINE ON THE DATACARDS IN THE PROPERTY DEFINITION. Error in job EQ1-Nonlinear-2: THE INDEPENDENT VARIABLES MUST BE ARRANGED IN ASCENDING ORDER
I hope a link is allowed, since it does not allow me to upload .inp files.
In the files above, there can be found a linear file and a nonlinear file .inp, where the first spring has been edited at code line 1898. Also added is the linear .cae file for easier insight in the model by using the user interface.
Please let me know if I misunderstood something about writing nonlinear springs and how I should go about it otherwise.
I did attempt it in a smaller model and this worked fine, so I am uncertain what's going on.
