Hello, I´m wondering if it´s possible to use general contact in Abaqus/Explicit with beam and shell elements and not with solid elements. If it is possible, how do I define the beams in the "surfaces" set and in the interaction definition. I´m trying to model a beam supported by a wall modelled as shell and the solely interaction between them is frictional. I tried to use general contact interaction but I end up with the beam partially overlapping the wall and I don´t know how to avoid it. Thanks for the help in advance
