Hi,

I'm running Abaqus 6.14.1 on a Win7 x64 machine.

I'm trying to run an analysis using Abaqus Explicit & a VUMAT but the process stalls when the Abaqus/Explicit Packager is called (i.e. packager.exe never exits)

In fact even when I force a shut down of abaqus, packager.exe continues to run in the background & has to me shut down through the Task Manager.

The subroutine compiles fine but the actual analysis never starts.

Any clues as to exactly what 'packager.exe' is doing?
