What is the best way to be able to visualize and identify the impact of platform using resources their personal calendar - meaning holidays, absence periods,... on the project schedule.

Where can any user identify their absence (schedule holidays,...) so that the project schedule gets updated with ideally a trigger for the project manager when the resource is assigned to a task/phase during this period, as this could have significant impact on the schedule and it might be recommended to assign other(s) to the assigned task.
Possible Solution?
- Get the "My calendar" - (under Collaboration and approvals) activated for writing (currently in my platform only reporting).
- Have this linked to the resource availability in the resource allocation project schedule.
