Hi,
I am new to draftsight even though I installed it back in 2014 I only used properly for the first time last week now my problem is that it wont let me in. I have uninstalled and re-installed the latest version and still unable to access. would really appreciate some help in trying to figure this out.
the process goes like this.
- double click on desktop shortcut
- draftsight activation dialog box appears - "....... number of days remaining: 0 I then click on activate now.
- reactivation dialog box appears - I fill in the info - email, industry and so on (I have tried several emails) sometimes the email line changes colour to red depending on what email I use??
- I then click on reactivate button
- attention dialog box appears - "please reactivate the product to continue using it" it then has a check box under it (unchecked) with the words "Edit draftsight proxy setting"
- if I tick the box and click ok then another dialog box appear "proxy authentication required" proxy settings as follows
proxy type : no proxy (has the option via drop down box to select different proxy type)
host: (field blank)
Port: 0
User: (field blank)
Password: (field blank)
Ok or cancel button. I click on ok button as I don't have any idea what these settings do?? it looks like draftsight is about to open as the draftsight screen appear full size for 1-2 seconds then disappears and then im back to my desktop.
OR
6. just click on ok without touch prxy setting box, the same thing happens - it looks like draftsight is about to open as the draftsight screen appear full size for 1-2 seconds then disappears and then im back to my desktop.
I have no idea what the problems is. I have basic knowledge of a pc so tried uninstalling and then reinstalling which didn't help.
Any help would hugely appreciated
