I attempted to find an existing answer but was unsuccessful.

So, I will ask . . .

I now have a pale reddish circle and a pointer blob in my working area, either model or sheet space.

I do NOT remember seeing it before (prior to the 2017 SP2 update maybe?).

What is it trying to tell me?

Do I need it?

It is getting difficult to ignore.
