Downloaded DraftSight to a Lenovo M50 8090 running XP Pro. Upon trying to open DraftSight, got a warning to the effect that my display driver was unstable and needed to be updated. Updated the driver and DraftSight ceased complaining.
Thereafter, when the internet was accessed, either through IE or Firefox, the video unpredictably went berzerk --- diagonal stripes, looked like lack of sync on on old TV set. Then Windows would get irritated and display a BSOD with a mess of warnings, and would start dumping memory to disk. This happened even when DraftSight was not running, and the computer became nearly useless. Tried several drivers recommended for this computer with the same bad results.
This computer had been stable for years prior to the DraftSight installation.
Uninstalled DraftSight, and the problems seem to have disappeared.
Disappointed---DraftSight looks like a nice application. What should be done?
