Every few months I try to start Draftsight and I get the expired on missing licence error.
This is the process to fix it:
To Completely remove Draftsight:
From terminal:sudo apt-get --purge remove dassault-systemes-draftsight:i386 (wtch the screen and not any folders you might need to delete such as /var/opt/dassault-systemes)
to delete some of the folders you might have to right click and select"open as root" (sudo nautilus to open in root)
navigate to /home/mwfoshee/.config delete "draftsight" and "Dessault Systemes" Folders (possibly as root)
Restart to be safe
Next I copy my "tweaked" install file (followed this tutorial -==> http://linuxaideddesign.blogspot.com/2012/03/draftsight-and-ubuntu-1204-lts-64bit.html) from my download directory to my "home" directory and install.
Something is different this time, I cannot seem to rid myself of the expired licence error msg when I try to open draftsight.
HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!
