Selection mode does not remain as set. I've now had the same problem with the last two [2023 +2024] releases and had this software >12 yrs. The default should remain in either 1 [Multiple], or if reset to Auto. The only mode that I  don't use is "0" for a single entity selection;  however this is the constant reset [default?] selection Draftsight returns to over and over again. I waste an enormous amount of time on this singular problem, esp. as I have one useable hand. Anyone have an idea of the potential source? I've checked all of my settings for selection- User, System, even Plotting, etc. and still this continues. I'm running a Boxx laptop in Win 10, with seemingly adequate memory and speed, see below .
