despite the answer here (https://swym.3ds.com/#community:70/iquestions:195) selecting multiple entities without the CNTRL or SHFT-key doesn't work for me (anymore). Also, selecting multiple entities by dragging several boxes (windows) doesn't work properly anymore. Creating the first box selects the entities, creating a second box (partly overlapping the first) selects other entities but deselects the entities selected by the first box, even when using the shft and cntrl-keys. This makes DraftSight unusable for me.

It used to work fine yesterday when I first installed DraftSight (version 10.7.400 on XP Pro SP3). Maybe the workaround I implemented for the disappearing cursor problem (https://swym.3ds.com/#post:967) has something to do with my current problem? Although undoing the workaround doesn't solve this problem...

Any suggestions?
