I'm running Ubuntu Linux. Since draftsight has depreciated Linux support I can't run natively within Ubuntu. (Why why why Draftsight... my install was working perfectly.. I would pay for it it you want?)

I have a Virtual Machine installed running Windows 10 via Virtual Box. The windows version will open and run on a Trial Basis but it wont let me edit dra3igs.. only view, Is this just because it's a trial licence.. i.e if I buy a licence will it be OK? Or is it because it is a Virtual Machine?
