OK, looking for a little more info, I have been trying to create a print config for 8.5 x 11 template. I have tried several methods to create the template and then the print config. 1st, I draw in model space with the origin at 0,0. Copy with reference point and paste in paper space using exact coordinates of 0,0. Delete existing vp and create new the same size as template stipulating 0,0 coordinates. Then I create print config specifying my printer, paper size 8.5 x 11, Range-all geometry, scale 1:1 inches, offset relative to printable area, print on center of paper. Then, when I save and activate, in paper space the background paper template shifts relative to the created template. This happens whether I insert it as a block or draw the template in paper space directly. As long as I keep the original session open the print config stays intact, but if I close the program and reopen the only thing that changes is the paper size which reverts to a "custom" size. This causes the template to shift off center from the background template, giving me unequal borders. I have to manually reselect the paper size of 8.5 x 11 which then centers the template back. I have discovered that checking the properties dialogue box for my selected printer shows that printer paper size there has also reverted to "custom". This occurs in both model and sheet/paper space print config's. Does this look like a problem with my printer, or not using print config correctly, or a problem with DS program?
