Draftsight - free versionV1R5 x64

I have this annoying problem that drives me crazy.

I have my snaps activated and hover over the snap to lock onto it. But by the time I move my finger to left click onto the snap, my cursor moves slightly and is no longer on the snap point I had intended. There does not appear to be any other snap points in the general area. The slight cursor movement will snap onto some random point close to the snap I had tried to snap onto. Help with this would be greatly appreciated.
