How do you create an orthographic view with correct origins ? and swap between them

I am used to CADAM where layers are created and the origins defined in relation to each other then the geometry drawn on ech layer using reference entities from the other views. I can see that the CCS can be changed but how do you create a simple top / bot and right hand view template ? I was a draughtsman and know how to create the views manually on one layer but I want differenet layers different orientated origins.
