I have the free version of Draftsight. I sent a simple 2D drawing to a friend who uses AutoCAD LT. I saved the DS drawing to the AutoCAD version being using but my friend can not change and save it, work with it or even make a PDF with it. They also can not do a "save as" either. I can not figure out how to turn off the "write protection" feature. Anyone know this? I have searched the file menus and options.
