I have used the help menu and user guide, but I am not sure if I am using these tools correctly and have found no imaging that would help to explain this better.  

I am particularly interested to find out if the software is purely 2D and if these are just options to enable the user to create 3D perspectives in 2D? 

Also, linked to this, is there an extrude tool function?
